On 24th June 2023, more than 250 ex-Presidents, ex-Officers and distinguished guests gathered to celebrate the Oxford Union's Bicentennial, marking one of the largest gatherings of life members in many decades. We were delighted that more than 20 ex-Officers made a special trip from the United States to attend the celebration.
Speeches and toasts were delivered by Lord Heseltine (ex-President and former Deputy Prime Minister), Theresa May (former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom), Tony Abbott (former Prime Minister of Australia), and Sir Ronald Cohen (ex-President). Grace was said by the Most Rev Bernard Longley (ex-Treasurer), the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Birmingham.
