On 1st October 2024, Oliver Evans (Foundation Fellow and President, Trinity 1997) generously hosted Oxford Union Ex-Officers and Life Members for a reception and dinner at the Somerset Club in Boston.
Michael Li (OXUF Chair and President, Trinity 2017) shared an update on OXUF's appeal to secure the Oxford Union's future, and Members enjoyed a lively discussion on the state of free speech and debate in universities today.
The Boston dinner follows a bicentenary joint debate the Oxford Union co-hosted with the Harvard Political Union in May 2023.
